So, I bought a new car and just got my standard license plates... I'm a little bit embarrassed about what is on the plates. Will the California DMV reissue revised plates or do I need to pay for personalized plates???

2 weeks ago I was hit by a drunk driver and my front left side of my car was damaged. My car is a 97 Sebring and just worth 1400. Well My insurance company called me to say that they are gonna give me 2400 to fix my car, not its NOT a total loss....now do I HAVE to fix my car with this money? I really dont want to because I want another car, I would like to use this money on another car or a down payment. What should I do?

Could someone tell me the difference between these two Lincoln welders?
One is a AC 225 arc welder and the other is an AC 225-S
arc welder.
I have the both of these and don't know what's the difference with the "S"?

You always have to set up your chain at the tightest part of it's run. Why does it have one? Surely a drive chain should wear at an equal rate at all points!

I have a car I want to trade in. I still owe some money on it and I am pretty sure I will have to take some proof of residency or whatever like a phone bill or somethin. I have a cell phone bill but I snuck my friend on it and my dad is goin with me to get the car and I don't want him knowin she is on my bill (he is real funny about that stuff). I don't really have any other "bills" that come in my name. I mean i have like a bank statement, a bill from magazine subscriptions, etc. Can I take those? Or if I take my phone bill will they even say anything about having that 2nd line on there? Any information would be greatly appreciated as to what I can take to get by with it. Thanks in advanced!

Are these for real?? I mean I'm looking on some websites, and they are starting some expensive cars like '05 lexus' and '04 corvettes for like $1,000.

Is it a scam or is it for real? And what would be the likely-hood of purchasing a car like that at one of those auctions for super cheap.. like under $10,000?

i am interested in buying a new car but i cant decide between the Cadillac CTS and Infiniti G35(coupe). I like that the cadillac has 5 seats compared to the infiniti which only has 4 seats. The deciding factors are which one looks better and which car is more reliable (performance). Ive always liked sports cars and the infiniti is a sports car but ive wanted a cadillac my whole life unfortunately they dont make cadillac sports cars which more than 2 seats and i need a car with at least 4 seats but i prefer 5. I think they take up the same amount of gas but if one takes up less than the other than thats also a deciding factor. so which car is better the cadillac or the infiniti??
