Harley was kind of like owning an Iron horse{or something like} compared to a honda yamaha kawa etc...of yesteryear. Now with all the custom bikes Harley is no different then yamaha kawa honda etc... except for the price tag{which seems to becoming more realistic}. I have nothing against harley but why waste money if there is no need? If you really have to be the "Big Dog" on the street then buy some real bragging rights and go get a custom bike made to fit your butt. Owning a Harley, metric, or custom doesn't make a difference the person does.

No Harleys are for those who like the look & how the bike rides age doesn't matter for this. I know more people that are 70 & 80 years of age and younger, who ride some very nice R1's, GSXR's your normal sports bike, and a few young guys just gotten onto their full license that ride Harelys. In that light the theory that harleys are something we graduate too is a bit incorrect (personal choice I don't like their look or their specs, so I ride a sports bike)

I'm 32, is that old? It's not for old people, people who love harleys ride them their whole lives and it's a part of them. That's why you see older people on them and no other bike.

Knock it off, Ron.
You're gonna make me (and others) feel bad about giving you good advice.

Not really, but I think you are still not old enough to buy one!
You have to be at least 18yrs old.
Don't worry, time will go by fast!
I ride a Kawa Vulcan 900 Custom but I felt like you needed my good advise... When I was your age I use to think like that too.

What do you consider old? I've been riding Harley's since I was 16. That was 46 years ago.

If a Harley is for an "old person" then I guess a Shwinn with training wheels" is for a "young person"

Why don't you get your answer direct from Milwaukee? Seems to me you re more interested in pissing on the site than becoming better informed. Other trolls have pretty much fuct up the rest of Answers, go circle jerk with them and leave this section for people with better purposes.
How's that for "discuss"?

No there not only for old people. Older people probably can afford one. Harley's are built for everyone built for comfort. http://www.buellxb.com
