All the pilots I fly with (myself included) call them seats. But if you are referring to the actual area we sit in, we call it a cockpit, or a crew station. Hope this helps.

It's known as the cockpit the captains place on a ship is the con E.G. Captains got the con meaning he's in charge.

I would call it the cockpit or the flight deck. Same as on an airplane.

Pilots often refer to themselves as "drivers". I drive a jet. I drive a Boeing 737. I drive a Piper Cub.
So... if you wanted to sound like a pilot, you can call it, the driver's seat.

.Most people call it a flight cockpit but the politically correct term is flight deck
