i got a ticket and the only thing it is for is not wearing a seatbelt...do i still have to pay court cost???

The only time you usually pay for court cost is if you don't pay the ticket. Then they send you a notice and give you 10 more days to pay and of course they add little more $$ to that. Then you better have a good job!

It depends on your state. In georgia you only pay the ticket for a seat belt violation and its like 25 i think.

If your ticket is small, you should just pay it.... some of us aren't so lucky... in Utah a seat belt violation is a mandatory $400 fine (no questions asked).

In most cases you'll ALWAYS pay court costs if you are not found "Not Guilty."
