the fuel filter is on the passenger side engine wall at the rear of the engine compartment. It looks about the size of an engine oil filter and it should be steel with a steel band around the center that secures it to the firewall. There should be a rubber hose going to the top and an steel line going to the bottom.

the hose has a "banjo" fitting on it. You'll have to replace the two washers for that fitting when you replace the filter. You'll also need to use a flare nut wrench on the fitting for the steel pipe that goes into the bottom of the filter.

be careful to do this when the car is cold. otherwise there will be pressure in the system that could cause fuel to spray when you open the fitting. keep a shop rag over the fitting as you break the connections because fuel will come out and you don't want it spraying at you or on a hot engine.

hope that helps

Jack the car up and find it. It's not like there are miles of pipe! If the car has an 02 visible from the motor compartment the other 02 is after the precat about 2 feet farther down.
