This is my first accident, not sure what to do. The police already came and told me to get my police report in two days. Should I notify my insurance company now or wait until the police report comes out. Most likely they will ask for the police report # right?

My Unlce is on vacation and didn't want me touching his car but I did. I got into an accident and there's a huge dent on the side of the car.

What should I do?

a.) Call him and tell him about it.

b.) Try to fix it before he gets back

c.) Kill myself

I have a 2004 Mazda, I heard squeaking sound when I steped on my brakes. So I took it to Midas, to change my brake pads, which they advertised for 45 dollars. But now they want to charge me 800 dollars, they said I have to change my axile as well, so what the heck is going on? Should I take a male next time I go fix my car?

I am thinking of buying a new RL. Does anyone out there own one? What do you think? Also on my short list is the Infiniti M45 and Lexus GS 350. Anyone have experience with those rides? I appreciate your help as I contemplate pulling the 50K trigger. Thanks.

I live in a condo where my carport is detached from the building and is across the drive. An electrical outlet is not available. Is there a Battery Tender-like device available that I can charge inside during the day and then take out to the bike to trickle charge it overnight?

ok so here's my problem my car recently had trouble getting into gears. so i discovered that the radiator water was mixed with oil and i checked the engine dipstick, but it was fine, then i checked the transmission oil dipstick, and was the same mixure color as the radiator. kind of light brownish chocolate color. so i dropped the transmission oil pan and it was full of this stuff. when it all finished dripping, i poured more water into the radiator, and i saw it was leaking from 2 pipes inside the transmission where the oil pan was. but the lines weren't broken or old looking, rather it was leaking from the joint. so my questions are as follows.
1. is this fixable
2. how much will it cost
3. can i do it myself
4. do i have to take out the whole transmission
5. do i need a whole new transmission

ok, and the car is a 1985 oldsmobile ninety-eight regency

My Mondeo fuel gauge registers a different reading before I turn on the ignition.If Im a bit low on fuel sometimes it regs about quarter tank and when I turn ignition on it drops to just above the red,is this a feature to stop the car running out of fuel?

The car hit my back bumper as well as my rear left tire. The tire looks fine but can that bump cause a wheel alignment problem or is it something more serious. After filing the police report, when I drove home I had to steer quite a bit left to get the car to go straight. I have a 05 honda accord and wheel alignment is only done to the front tires right? I hope it's not something more serious that will cost me a lot of $.
