Why would you replace the alternator and battery for squealing belts? Any competent mechanic can tell you where the squealing is coming from in two minutes. Somebody is ripping you off.

Check your belt tension with the CAR OFF. push on the belt in an open area between the pulleys. it should have no more than 3/8 inch play if it is loose tighten the belt.

find a good and smart mechanic ,Your actual mechanic is a moron.( if You keep it ,He gonna cost YOU money on bad diagnostics)

the noise is the compressor clutch.He has to remove ALL the belts and install ,one by one, and starting the engine every time He install each belt.

meanwhile, check if You have the same squealing with the A/C off.

Check with your local dealer for any recalls. You may also try the belt tensioner, most cars have a spring loaded tensioner that could be weak.
