my key does not work for my car door. it can open and lock the right passenger side but not the driver side. it goes into the driver side but does not turn. what could be the problem?

im thinking about purchasing a 98 mustang. The previous owners where an older couple the engine is clean the oil need to be changed the Automatic tranny is good. everything seems to be running great. the Cost of the car is 5500 that inclueds tax and licens. mileage on the car is 103117. No smoke in exsaust and starts up with no hesitation. only while running it seems to me like the belt or pullies might be squeaking there is a high pitched ring comming from the area. thats the only think i found wrong so far. only i dont know about recalls or anything like that yet. So is it a good buy?

I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (5.6L) with 165,000 miles. I need both rear axle bearings and seals replaced (although noise is only coming from the right rear). I also will need to replace the right rear axle itself.

How much should I expect to pay for this repair, and is it better to go to a dealer, or can any (major) auto repair shop do this work?

I just replaced my break 18 months ago. I have a 2000 mazda protege. It's almost like the wheels are sticking. In some cases, if i am idling forward, the wheels will prevent the car from moving as if my brakes were applied.

What tools will I need to replace the main powersteering pressure hose and what are the steps to replace it? I am not a mechanic but I am familiar with changing oil for my car, replacing radiator fan, replacing thermostat, replacing fuel filter, replacing air filter, etc. With my level of expertise, how much more difficult is it to replace the main pressure hose for the powersteering? Do I have to drain the fluid first? Should I wrap up the alternator to avoid spills into it? etc.

I drive a '95 Geo Metro. On most cars the hazards and flasher units are different, but on my car apparently they're the same. That is what makes this question as puzzling as it is. Why is it that the flashers on the car work, but the blinkers don't? I've changed the hazard/flasher unit and still nothing, and I know the bulbs aren't burnt out because they flash when the flasher unit comes on. Every once in a while (and I mean once in a WHILE) the blinkers will work, but not for long at all. Any ideas?

I have a 2002 Hyundai Accent, and about a month ago the rear windshield wiper stopped working. It was right after a big snow and I pulled a lot of ice off of the windshield, so I may have put a lot of stress on it. Help!!! I'm not used to driving in the rain without it!

i looked at it and felt air comming from under the blower motor housing tried taking it out and reinstalling it the seal is in the right place. cant figure out why it wont blow the air out full blast. just a little air comes out of the vents on a the fan settings. replaced the blower. is there only one way to hook the blower up or can it be reversed to turn a nother direction. im cluess. everthing comes on but does not blow like it shuld very little air comes through the vent holes.

Help!!! My husband is 45 years old and recently decided that he wants to start a new career as an airline pilot. I'm desperately trying to dissuade him because 1. The cost of training to become an airline pilot would bankrupt us 2. He is too old to start this career (he has never flown a plane before)! He is middle aged and I'm really worried he is in his midlife crisis (he denies it). 3. No airline company will hire him at this age. This fixed idea of his had caused us a lot of grief lately and I just don't know what to do anymore! Please help with good advice based on facts so that I can show him the responses. Hopefully this will help him come back to his senses.
