All good answers, but you may have a problem with the evaporator core being, what we call"furry". If the evaporator has had a small leak, leaving A/C oil on the exterior of it, it will eventually start to attract dust, dirt, etc. that will stick to the outside of it and restrict air flow. You can service some of them, by going into the firewall, if there is an opening, and spraying it down with a non flammable brake cleaner. If your vehicle isn't equipped to access it, unfortunately, you are stuck with this problem, or having the evaporator replaced, which is often very costly.

Sounds like the vacuum source line is cut under the hood which is usually attached to a vacuum storage tank like a plastic or metal ball... or your "blend doors" inside the a/c ducts under the dash are stuck in one position and not allowing the air to flow through. What make, model and year car do you have? Most cars with a/c have 3 or 4 of these doors inside the ductwork and they are operated by vacuum diaphram's controlled by your heater controls....when you select a certain mode, like defrost, the control will send vacuum to some of these doors to open or close and allow the airflow to go to the top of the dash...when you select bi-level, the doors move to allow air to come out of the center vents. I suspect that a vaccuum line under the hood to the heater controls is damaged or cut or that one or more of these vacuum diaphrams that control these doors is bad or not getting vacuum from the control either from a cut line or the line came off the control. Do you hear any hissing sound coming from the dash or under the hood? The heater control might hiss a little when you select one mode or another but it should not be a constant hiss. If you hear a constant hiss from any of these area's, track it down and correct the leak.
Hope this helps, Paul

OK Listen up if you can feel air blowing out the bottom its not your switch I don,t think , Now try your blend door , That puts air at vents and defroster, Take your hand and find the door and try to move it with the car on and A/C is on if you can move it and it goes back your blend door motor has gone bad, Had that happen to a friend of mine , Now he is happy got A/C and heat good luck

Have you tried the simple things first? Check the air filter and see if it is clogged. Also, I had a car were some leaves got sucked into the air path and restricted the flow -- I removed the leaves and the blower worked properly.

What type of vehicle? Alot of models had the blower motor resistors go in them. Put your fan switch on high, if it blows ok, then that's a good indication what the problem is. If not possibly
bad fan switch.
