I just replaced my break 18 months ago. I have a 2000 mazda protege. It's almost like the wheels are sticking. In some cases, if i am idling forward, the wheels will prevent the car from moving as if my brakes were applied.

Take the car to a brake shop and let them look at it. You may have a sticking caliper. Delaying the repair may cost you a lot more money if it ruins some other parts. good luck

Sounds like your brake calipers are sticking. Have them checked out. They may need to be loosened or greased. Don't wait to do this. You will ruin your tires, brakes, rotors........and more.
