The P215/75R15 100S will shorten your effective gear ration relative to the OE P225/75R15 102S. That will do nothing to help gas mileage. The switch will also reduce the load capacity of your tires by over 500 pounds. Reducing load capacity below what is recommended by the vehicle manufacturer is never recommended.

You are not going to really improve your fuel effeciency that much because of the overall diameter of the tires. You are going down in size but not even by an inch. The overall diameter of a P215/75R15 is 27.7 inches, a P225/75R15 is 28.3 inches. You can still give it a try though.

you sure can. It's just a narrower tire. Want fuel effeciency, add some 100% PURE ACETONE to the gas tank. 3oz per 10 gal. You'll see about a 30% increase in your mileage. It won't hurt the engine. Makes the gas burn properly.

Yeah, but it's only 4/10 of an inch narrower so it will not make a difference in fuel efficiency.

4 Tires? "extra effective Traction!" extra Tire Rubber to Grip the line, extra effective steerage. With the front Tires turn the Wheel and Spin the Tires, Do they Hit? As specifically if that is a diverse length substitute No a lot less Then 2 Tires!

Do the math in figuring out the circumference of the tires. If the difference is less than 10%, which won't throw off your speedometer, then yes, go ahead and do it.

They won't only be narrower, but shorter too. Your mileage will probably go down.
Go ahead and put acetone in if you want to destroy your fuel system.
