No, and considering less then 25% of Altima's sold are with the large V6 there is no demand for a higher gas burning V8. The current V6 puts out V8 power so why would you need a V8 anyway? Also, we are talking about the Altima, maybe this question will be more relevant in a future incarnation of the Maxima. I think Nissan may make a V8 Maxima by 2009, though with rising fuel costs it might not happen.

No, they only come in V6 engine.
There is the Altima SER which is a 3.5 Litre V6 and it is manual transmission. That's as good as it gets.

If you want a V8 in a nissan get the higher end (infiniti)M45/Q45.
