I'm 16 and will soon be getting my license. I am turning into a very good driver(i hate to brag) but my parents let me drive everywhere. THe only problem is how do I get them to buy me one? I've thought of so many reasons why I should get one and have told me one but they've just countered right back with a reason why they wont buy me one.

So far i've thought about the fact that I will be having practices in the mornings and im sure they dont want to drive me so early...lol...got any more suggestions?

100$ for driveway?

is it worthed to pay 100 to rent a driveway for your brand new car eventhou their is plenty of street parking available and you have full coverage insurance.

need to know if the numbers on a piston is a big deal if the piston numbers are not the same( in the readable?

the pistons are already in the motor but the man has put two of the pistons on each side of the motor with the numbers up and two pistons on each side with the numbers upside down

Does any one know about car registrations renewals in California?

Here is the situation I live in California but my car is in Minnesota to renew the registration I need a smog check my question is can I get a temporary permit without the smog permit so I can bring the car to California and have the smog check done then? Any one familiar with DMV of California out there?

How do you engine brake with stick shift?

how do you engine brake/down shift to slow down the car.
Im not sure if this is right. Do you down shift when the rpm drops down to 2500rpm or 2000rpm. but I heard some people say you down shift on the rpm you upshift with. Im not sure. Im a new at driving stick shift.

I have a 1990 Sable with the air bag light flashing?

I have a 1990 Sable that the air bag light just started flashing yesterday. It flashes 9 times then pauses and flashes again. I did disconnect the battery for a couple hours and that did not fix it. does any one know why it would do that and how I could fix it?

I have an unwanted car parked on my property. How do i get rid of it without having to pay a lot of money?

The property where the car is parked is a house we use as a rental property. We want to have the car removed before the next tenant moves in. The rental property is located out in the country in Northern California and the car has been abandoned. Who can I call to have it towed without having to shell out a lot of my own money?

Is there any way to turn off traction control on 2007 Ford Mustang?

I just got an 07 Mustang, 4.0 Liter V6, with pony package, and was wondering if there was anyway to turn off the traction control. On my other vehicle there was a button on the dash to turn off but there's not one on this car.
