If so how much and where can I find info. Flying to Conn. to visit friends and want to take a day trip into the city

Absolutely. Lots of people live in Connecticut and work in Manhattan and take the train. From the station below you can get to Grand Central Station.

I believe its the metrorail line and now costs about $15 from Stamford, CT to Grand Central.... Ive done it many times...Have a nice time in CT! It rocks!
