I'm 16 and will soon be getting my license. I am turning into a very good driver(i hate to brag) but my parents let me drive everywhere. THe only problem is how do I get them to buy me one? I've thought of so many reasons why I should get one and have told me one but they've just countered right back with a reason why they wont buy me one.

So far i've thought about the fact that I will be having practices in the mornings and im sure they dont want to drive me so early...lol...got any more suggestions?

Yes...but you may not like what I suggest. Maybe your parents want to see that you going to be reasonable, appreciative and a good driver. Here is how you do it...

Get a J-O-B. Save all your money, then offer to pay for half the cost of a good used Car and your portion of the Insurance. This show that you are appreciative, responsible and that you won't damage the car because you have a vested interest (you paid for it so you won't damage it). Good luck BUT remember nothing is free and your parents don't owe you anything. They will help you, if you help yourself.

i imagine dad and mom could make their children bypass to paintings on the age of 16 and start up saving up. Its precisely what I had to do and that i purchased a clean bike on the age of 20. I recommend if the dad and mom are putting their call down thinking they have respectable credit to assist their toddler get a vehicle they favor then positive i will do not ignore that yet they extra effectual have a job and paying it off with their funds and not in any respect their dad and mom. For the adolescents that did have dad and mom that offered them each thing then evaluate your self fortunate and experience it even as you nonetheless can is all i will say...

I'll be 16 in about a month, and it's taken me a while I've had to persist and persist, I just kept reminding them of how much they hate driving me everyhwhere, especially at night. I also said it'd be so helpful because I'd be able to drive to school(I ride the bus now), and I'd get more sleep. if you have good grades, you could try that. do you have a job? you could help pay for some of the car.
whatever you do, good luck.

The thought of your parents having to buy you a car is abhorrent to me. First, if you have early practices, in some sport, then possibly they'll let you borrow a car. Secondly, have you considered their financial situation? Perhaps they can't afford to buy you a car, and then pay for the insurance, so that you can ride around. If you can't afford to buy your own, then maybe you should start saving until you can.

Take the bus. It is not your parents responsibility to buy you a car. A car is an expensive investment, and it is incredibly selfish of you to be asking your parents to invest that much in your selfish needs.

You could get a job and buy your own car.

Maybe if your parents see you working your a** off to get a car they will offer to contribute to your goal.

dont make your parents buy you a car. maybe they cant afford it, and if they can, they might not want to have you think everything comes without a price. get a job and buy your own.
