How do you remove the stock stereo on a 04 Toyota Tacoma?

This vehicle requires one of two disassembly.
Dash Type I :
1. Pull climate control knobs off.
2. Remove climate control panel.
3. Extract (2) Philips head screws securing radio bezel.
4. Extract (2) plastic fasteners from either side of bottom panel,
pull away, unplug, and remove.
5. Extract (1) Philips head screw securing bottom of radio bezel
under ashtray.
6. Using panel removal tool, pry off radio bezel, pull away, unplug
and remove.
7. Extract (4) Philips head screws securing radio, pull away,
unplug, and remove.

Dash Type II :
1. Pull climate control knobs off.
2. Remove Climate control trim panel.
3. Remove (2) Phillips head screws from behind climate control
panel.
4. Using panel removal tool snap trim panel off, Unplug and
remove.
5. Remove 4 Phillips head screws from radio Bracket.
