I just got an 07 Mustang, 4.0 Liter V6, with pony package, and was wondering if there was anyway to turn off the traction control. On my other vehicle there was a button on the dash to turn off but there's not one on this car.

The button is on the top of the dash area with the rest of the other accessories button, you can't miss it, it's labeled TCS. Press it (keep it pressed), and you will hear a beep and OFF will illuminate on the button. Everytime you turn on the vehicle, it resets itself back to the ON position. If you don't see this button at all, then it means your vehicle isn't equipped with it.

I'm giving you a link to your owners manual online from Motorcraft...

Hope this helps :)

Double check the buttons on the dash above the radio. It is there on my 2007 Mustang GT, but has a different label/icon than the button on my 2005 Mustang GT, but in the same location on the dash. It may show an icon of a car skidding or may say "TCS".

There has to be a way. Look in the owners manual. What happens if you get stuck in snow? My mustang had a button to push.
If you can't find it in the owners manual, then call the dealership. Part of the delivery process was to have the salesman explain the features of the car to you. It appears he didn't do his job well enough. In fact, you should have had to initial a form saying he explained everything to you.

Thanks for buying Ford.

i had an 06 v6 but didn't have it long enough to be going on tractionless adventures lol unless there's a button on the dash or somewhere around the cup holder/center concil thing, you probably can't turn it off..
