I can give you an approximation.
Honda ct90 1966 -1968 vin# CT90-100001 to 199999.
The early model had a 4 speed transmission with dual overlay rear sprockets.
The later models had a single rear sprocket, but an 8-speed dual range transmission. (4-low, 4-high)
If you want to know the exact year, go to a Honda dealer. The parts dept. will have a catalog showing every Honda made and the VIN#s of each year.

ok tenth of seventeen digit of the vin is year, so
"4" would be 1954,1964, 1974 or 2004
