I have a set of 12 karats on my truck, but the chrome is crap, and I need them replaced, but I cant find out who to contact.

The spark plug is OK. That's where my knowledge ends. there are wires going to the flywheel area, I assume they are the magnetic pickup that tells the brain when to fire.

One other little piece of info. Because the battery was dead, I ran some cables from my car battery to the bike to try to get it to start. But, like I said, no spark.

Anybody have any idea what's wrong with it?

I am currently searching for a good, reliable, certified used car. I have heard so many different opinions about which is the better car. I am looking for a 2000-2005. Please submitt any suggestions. I have heard that Pontiacs and Fords aren't good cars. I have also heard that Toyota and Chevy are good choices. Any advice is appreciated!

It is only 28 miles and it always takes at least an hour, on Friday it is always an hour and a half. I usually take the 210 but it is alway backed up going under 10 mph. What do I do?

I have a 1996 Chevy Lumina LS 3.4L DOHC (86,000 miles) with a four speed automatic i think. With the shift selector set in D1 and it will go. I move it up to D2, Drive, and Overdrive. It is just like it goes into neutral and revs up. High RPMS 4000-4500 or so. Once it gets up to 4000-4500 rpms it shifts into the gears. There is no partial engagement at all, until the car slows down and it downshifts back into 1st. This problem appeared suddenly, with no partial slipping, shuddering, etc., but the car just had a new engine from a 97 lumina euro 3.4L put in it. The fluid level is correct. Could this be a problem with the modulator valve or something else? Or, what other things are likely suspects? Thanks for any ideas! The tranny was fine in the other engine, but now its not all of the sudden.

wouldn't i need to get my alt beefed up? or would just a red cap gel do the job? i'm looking to installing 2 diamond d6 subs, and 1000 to 1500 mono amp on them a bass cap and a amp for the highs. So what you u recommend for power thanks.

I have a 1993 Dodge Dakota. One day the headlights would not shut off and teh high beam indication on the dash will not go out when moving the multifuction switch. I pulled the fuse from under the hood and replaced it. Since that did not work I installed a new headlamp switch. To my surprise that did not work either. There does not appear to be any shorts.

Any suggestions as to what I might try next, other than going to a repair shop?

My 98 honda doesn't play fake cd's.. and if it does it takes forever to read them and then you better not skip a track cuz it starts reading it all over again!!!

Anyone else run into this problem??? And I don't really wanna buy a new cd player.. they get stolen more easily.

What brand of blank CD's should I buy that might work for my factory player???

I have a 96 Lumina, which just started making a terrible noise as I was driving. When I pulled over I thought I had blown my engine, but a good samaritan, trying to help suggested that my engine had not blown and that my coil packs, or module had gone bad. After replacing them, it runs, but very badly and when I put it in gear it stops abruptly and my oil light stays on. I am no mechanic but I believe it might be the oil pump or the timing chain. Could it be one of them or what else could it be?

i bought an air conditioner for my bed room less than a year ago and it worked fine for the first few months. but now if i leave it running for an hour or so a thick sheet of ice forms on the front coils right behind the filter. the filter is completely clean, no dust stuck on it or anything. the room is large and the air conditioner has enough btu's to cool the room. does anyone know what might be wrong with it and if it is fixable?

I have a 2003 Ford van.
All of my seatbelts have frayed (as in shreaded)
Then snapped in half I had to replace them all but one. Ford refused to replace them. They told me I abused my seatbealts.

I am reposting this because my original wording was confusing people.

My A/C compressor cycles on & off every 3-5 seconds.
My AC is not blowing cold. I know compressors have a circuit to prevent clutch engagement when refrigerant is too low. When I try to add refrigerant, the system will not accept it. Does this indicate it is full or is there is a major break somewhere? However, if the latter were the case, I would expect the refrigerant to be accepted into the system, albeit it would then be wasted. Can anyone help me diagnose the problem?

I have a Sony XPLOD Head Unit. It has EQ presets such as "XPLOD" "Gravity" and "Cruise." So it does not necessarily a "Rock" setting. I can create a custom EQ with Low, Mid, and Hi from -10 to +10. Whatever i try i cannot get it to sound good. Any hints? I know Low is bass, but i have no idea how it should be configured with all 3.
