Inside of my vehicle interior roofing is coming down. Clothlike material in the inside of the vehicle in the ceiling of the car. What is it called? I would to get it repaired.

this is called the headliner. most fabric stores (jo-ann fabrics, etc.) sell headliner fabric in a few different colors. remove your headliner (a pain in the butt), pull the old cloth off, scrape or use a stiff-bristled brush to clean off the dusty old adhesive. there are many companies that make a spray adhesive- i like 3M products. follow the instructions on the can, apply your new headliner material, cut out any holes for dome lights, etc. trim the edges and reinstall! it's a time consuming project, and lots of little plastic clips and such get brittle with age, but you will be satisfied with the results.

Hmmm the headliner
You know the liner is on a stiff board. Did you know you can go to a material shop and buy dome naugahyde (Simulated leather) and then buy the buttons to put on them. Then you can buy some glue spray and glue it on the liner back board and have a nice lines. I did it and it came out sweet. But I bought some housing insulation foil from Home Depot. That way it deflects the heat away from the inside of the car. The leftover stuff I plan to use in the door panels I plan to glue the stuff to the inside of the door so when outside heat hits the door a majority of it will bounce back. I figure it may keep my car cooler. And it does not hurt nothing either.

It is called a headliner you can go to an automotive upholstery shop to get it repaired or replaced , check with one , I had a cloth one ( it fell )..so I had them to just glue down a piece of leather on the panel , the cloth will fall again they can make you something a little more better than what the factory does ....

its called the head liner, what giing on is the glue is not holding fabric on .some call be fixed also a upholstrey shop.most prices about 150.00 dollars
