The spark plug is OK. That's where my knowledge ends. there are wires going to the flywheel area, I assume they are the magnetic pickup that tells the brain when to fire.

One other little piece of info. Because the battery was dead, I ran some cables from my car battery to the bike to try to get it to start. But, like I said, no spark.

Anybody have any idea what's wrong with it?

Hi Pilgram,
I see you didn't go for the Chang and bought some other toy instead. The Honda TL200 Reflex could be fun I guess. Those bikes have a simple magneto style ignition and do not need a battery at all to run. The source coil under the flywheel has a Black wire with red plastic tube at its connector, and should have 100-300 Ohms to ground. The pulse (trigger) coil has two wires coming out (green/white and blue/yellow) and should have 468-572 Ohms. The ignition coil itself should have .15-.2 Ohms primary resistance and 3.7-4.5 K Ohms secondary (7.4-11 K Ohms with plug cap on wire).
As your first answer noted check the kill switch. There is a black/white wire coming out of the CDI box, it goes to both the ignition switch and kill switch, when you run the kill switch or turn the key off it CONNECTS the black/white wire to ground to short out the ignition. That should give you a few things to check. Ignition coil failure is very very rare, I suspect the pulse coil, and while I have given you the resistance check the best way to check them is with a peak voltage meter (should have an output of at least 1.7 volts). Don't worry about jumping the bike from a car, as I said the battery has nothing to do with the ignition system on this bike.

Check the kill switch circuit, if it is okay I would suspect either the coil is bad or the Electronic Ignition Module.

OK NEVER BOOST A BIKE WITH A CAR CHANGE YOUR CDI BOX(BLACK BOX 2 TO FOUR INCH LONG )YOU VE DESTROYED IT BY BOOSTING IT THAT IS WHAT MAKES YOUR SPARK PLUG FIRE
