Make certain the words "salvage title" are nowhere near the vehicle you're looking at.
And if you're financing through a local bank (not chains like B of A, KeyBank, National City), you may want to purchase GAP Insurance (http://personalinsure.about.com/od/policybasics/a/aa021405a_2.htm) this COULD be helpful should problems arise down the road. carfax.com is VERY good at reporting vehicle history, just get the accurate VIN number from the vehicle your interested in. I believe it costs less than
$30 for a one-time use, check em out

the best used cars are from Honda and Toyota, whatever you decide to buy make sure you have them inspected by a mechanic you can trust. I have worked in a variety of different dealerships and found that Toyota and Honda are the best in quality, if you want to go up in price Lexus and Acura are even better.

Stick with Japanese or Korean cars, except the Kia Sportage or Kia Sephia. European are expensive to repair, and North American are hit and miss and miles behind the Japanese in engineering and manufacturing using poor quality parts.

attempt places like your financial organisation as i've got been given an extremely stable quote from my financial organisation. whilst i attempted the assessment web pages i chanced on all of them to be larger as agencies pay to be positioned on them. the only right situation could be look at the assessment web pages then attempt those that don't practice on them, Direct line do no longer pass on those yet that does no longer recommend that they would be suitable for you. Sorry i could no longer be extra help finished yet all of us pass by way of this stable luck.

I would go with Toyota or Honda, they are extremely reliable, and hold their value well.
