Where I live it's your own fault if you get caught by the police! They have to catch ya first!

Ticket you for operating a unlicensed vehicle on state roadways and seize the vehicle as unregistered and unlicensed. Think about it this way; make payment on a vehicle, a ticket, and not have the vehicle. You will be lucky if they sell it for what it is worth and you get out from under the payments. You want to drive it on the street than get headlights, turn signals, seat belts, stop lights, safety bars, bumpers, etc. etc. than hope they will register it. Not to mention obtaining insurance that will permit you to drive it on highway. You do know, your insurance is void if the police indicate the vehicle was operated on a highway or street. Think about it.

You can be ticketed for operating an unauthorized vehicle on public streets. They can also impound your quad. In some states you can register them and get tags for them. You would have to check with the DMV in your state.

Interesting you asked that. I just released one from the impound yard yesterday for that very thing. Cost the young man $168.43 for the one day I kept it there.
You want to run it on the streets? No problem. Get insurance, and get plates on it for street use. You get plates by bringing it up to street specifications, windshield, wipers, headlights, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals and whatever else they insist on for the inspection.

completely relies upon on your person close by rules and what you're doing once you get caught. while you're driving down the middle of a hectic street you will possibly be able to desire to assume to be in extra hardship. to no longer point out that a 85cc bike on the line might desire to reason problems for different site visitors. they do no longer seem to be designed for driving on the line and you will possibly scrub the tyres out especially speedy. feels like a nasty concept
