Will be doing the change myself, done dozens in lesser vehicles, never done a Z, any issues I should be aware of? Car has travelled 60,000km (40,000miles), is a 1991. Should I be changing the timing belts, or can a good mechanic do a visual easily? Thanks to all for your thoughts and suggestions.

i recently traded in my 01 tacoma for a smaller toyota yaris. i still owed 16000 on the truck and the trade in value was only 8250. i still owed 7750 which got added onto the price of my new car. my combined total for the new car was about 27,000 to finance. my bank would'nt even deal with me because the amount financed exceeds 20% of the cars value which is only 17,000. so toyota financed me and we wrote a contract. today i was told toyota cannot finance me because, like my bank, it is too much of a risk. i am in possession of the new car, they still have my truck...at least i hope they do, and i already have 1,000 miles on the new ride. i was told the only way it will work out for toyota to finance me is for me to put more money down which i dont have or for them to jack up my interest rate. what should i do? tell them to screw off because i already have a contract? what will happen if they want the car back with 1000 miles on it? make me pay for the wear and tear?

I see rigs and such on the highways driving around tossing debris on other cars. I personally have had my windshield cracked from this but have never pursued a legal course of action.

I have seen that some of the trucks have a sign on them that say "Not responsible for broken windshields" or some such. With the "Keep back 200 feet" disclaimer, I can understand, but is there some limit to this defense? Is it even defensible?

I have a 1967 chevy c20 2wd heavy 3/4 ton pickup truck. It has 4 wheel drum brakes and power assist steering from the factory. I want to change the front drum brakes to disk, and change the power assist steering to true power steering. I have access to a 1995 Chevy 1 ton truck for parts. I plan on using all of the steering linkage, p.s. pump, control arms, gearbox, spindles, steering shaft, brake booster, and all brake materials from the 1995 to retrofit the 1967. I know you can accomplish this interchange with Chevy trucks up to 1987, but I don't know if the newer body styles will also interchange. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Trains today can be one or two miles long with a "pusher" motor at he rear. Does constant radio communication have to be maintained for the train to operate?
How do they operate if they are in areas where radio communication is nearly impossible or not at all? Does the whole train go "dead" if you lose contact?

when coming up to an intersection and you want to turn right on red, yet the 'stellar' driver in front of you, stops at the light wanting to go straight, and at the same time stops in the middle of lane so there is not enough room for you to be able to make a right on red.
most times the the other lane that goes straight is empty and could have been occupied the 'stellar' driver, thus letting traffic flow around him . one would have to actually pay attention to what was happening around him while driving. now the question: what should the penalty be for 'stellar' driver??????

I just had my oil changed not too long ago and the mechanic pointed out my transmission fluid's color, saying that it might need changing. How much would it cost for me to do it myself and how difficult would it be? Could a beginner/dumbass be able to handle it?

Battery is brand new and charged, starter was just replaced. All accessory power works. Cannot jump it. When ignition is turned it doesn't even try to turn over, just a quick "click" then nothing.
