something is out of balance. I would check tire balance first. If the tires check out good then check out Tire alignment, if this checks out good, Check the balljoints and ends on the steering assembly, ?These are rubber busing components and do wear out causing the front end to become loose. IF this is a RWD car I would check out the U-joints on the driveline. If the U-joints are good, check the driveline for balance, If you've hit something and banged the driveline it can bend it and throw it out of balance. IF everything checks out good move to the transmission mount and motor mounts, if mounts are good then the vibe could be coming from inside the motor, First I would check the Harmonic Dampener if this is good then it might be ont he flywheel end. Every rotating assembly in a car is blanced, if the flywheel lost one of the blancing weights it would throw it all off. Start at the very outmost part and work your way back to the beginning.

A vibration at highway speeds (at least above 45 mph) is almost always tire balance. Your tires were balanced when they were installed but the balance will change as they wear and they should be re-balanced periodically.
If it is a low speed vibration that is usually a sign of either a mechanical problem or a tire with a "ply-separation". In the latter case the tire isn't round anymore but develops a bulge in one part of the tread from the internal belts separating from each other. Not real common, but it can happen.
A warped brake rotor, if it is bad enough, can cause a vibration even when you are not using the brakes.
Bad alignments by the way, don't cause vibrations. They cause uneven tire wear that can lead to vibrations but by themselves do not cause a vibration.

Well, it depends on how old your car is and how fast your driving. Because if it's an old car then it probably means that it can't handle the speed of when it starts shaking. If it's a new car, obviously that shouldn't be happening so it would have to be checked out.

reckoning on the area between you and the vehicle, even if you and the vehicle are contained in the open, on an excellent highway or there are shielding pillars or different autos on both area. If the vehicle is a few distance, run to both area. If very close to, run in the route of it and bounce onto the bonnet and roof as you're extra in all possibility to flee severe harm, esp if you're a extra healthful and athletic individual.

If you are at a stand still and the fan comes on does the engine still shakes ? If so then your engine damper is worn out and will cause it ! but if your takening off from a stand still you may have motor mounts that are badly worn or loose .

Your tires may need to be rebalanced. If they are unbalanced, you'll experience alot of vibration at higher speeds.

sounds like you need a while allignment or balance. When they do it they usually only do it up to the speed limit. If you go faster then that it can shudder

It could be that you have bad tires, and or your front end is out of alignment, or your tie rod or bushens are bad
