Tata's have been announcing common rail (DiCor) since August this year, but understandably that may take some time or may not be released at all because of a high price tag (which would compete with their new partner, Fiat). Recently I heard that a Direct Injection Turbo (Like the Skoda) is on the way. Direct Injection would be smoother and more efficient. Any ideas about when it will be launched?

Hi!

I have a toyota camry 1995, which has recently started stalling for no apparent reason. It starts fine, runs fine for 15-30 minutes and then starts giving trouble. Eventually it dies, it will start again a few times, but after another 15-30 minutes it refuses. After 5 minutes it recovers just enought to start, and continues to stall. The only way to run it then is to use both accelarator and brake... not pleasant!

I have had it tuned, inspected by mechanic for a whole day and he couldnt find what was wrong with it. I am a broke student. someone help me out please.

I read online it could be EGR, but they usually give trouble even when car is cold, I have no idea. Could someone tell me how to test the EGR valve? Ive heard its expensive (for a student).

Oh. and my car's muffler has been asking for repair for a while (6 months) but I chose to ignore it, and now i have to ignore it as i paid for tune up.

thanks in advance!!!

I have recently started building my own car from bottom up. I need to know the requirements to make it street legal. It is probably by state, but any educated advice would be helpful. Thanks...

These are the facts. A lawyer or someone familiar with Michigan law would be of great service.

My car is broke down in my driveway. It needs a fuel pump, and it leaked fluid on the ground. I received a noticed taped to my door yesterday. I wasnt home, havent been home yet. This afternoon, while no one was there, the people I rent my property from towed my car and took it to impound. I know it looked bad sitting there, but it had legal plates and insurance. Is this even allowed?? To make matters more interesting, I have a Mercedes, and it absolutely HAS to be towed on a flatbed. If it isnt the entire frame will be jerked out of whack. I do not know yet how they did it. I want to go to the manager tomorrow and dispute this while knowing my rights, but I dont want to sound like a horses ***. Please help! Any refencereces??

A friend of mine was in an acciedent but their insurance doesnt start til December. Is this possible? Do car insurance companies actually allow a driver to be uninsured for a month before starting their policy? :/

My cars trac off light came on today and now its stalling. It's a slow shut down, like first the heater noise got fainter then when I stopped it stalled. :-( s It does turn back on. I drove it straight home and when I turned it off it made a gurgling noise! There's a clicking noise coming from are where the ETS button is. When the TRac OFF light came on I first tried hitting the button but it didn't do anything. It was also the first really cold day of the year today. I take it in Monday and don't plan on driving it again until then. Just looking for any idea of what it could be so I am can not appear clueless when I take it in.
