Are there rebuild kits available for the 97 Chevy S10 master cylinder or must the be replaced?

Money, effort and time spent, much better to replace it with a NEW unit. If you try to rebuild it, chances are that it will still fail, and you will wind up replacing it anyway. They aren't cheap but it isn't going to cost you your first born male child either.

I dont imagine fixing the carry close cylinder is going to fix the noise you're probable going to favor to replace the throw-out-bearing or pilot bearing it really is perfect purely to get a carry close kit and replace all of it even as your there.

I think you have to replace it. I haven't fond a place that sales the rebuild kits.

You can find them if you want but do you have the proper tools to hone and install one? I don't think a new one is that expensive and it will Carry a warranty.

buy a new one you dont rebuild them
