I just purchased a starter for my F-250. I bought a rebuilt one for $65.00 + my old starter. It only takes 5 min to install it and if you do it yourself there is obviously no labor costs. I think Cooks and Cars should say Crook for cars! Auto wreckers are a good place to look if you don't mind used, and there are discount auto part stores.

Don't kid yourself on the cheap.
a 95 will run you about 150 and I charge 50 an hour to install 250 - 300 to repair. That could be a but cheaper in your area but starters are expensive these days
