Due to new Federal Law, no. You must go thru an extensive back ground check and finger printing to be elligable to have a hazmat indorsement. Then it is up to the Federal Goverment to issue an ok on you aquiring the endorsement.

In some states a felon can't get a CDL, so it depends on the state.

NO............felons can not have a hazmatt..... some states will not give you a cdl either.
people with a feloney r not allowed to do a lot of things most of us do. ,, including voting, most states a hunting licence and @ @ @ @ @

If he has a CDL he can qualify for hazmat.
