If it does what does it do? because when I read on the transmission stats it says 5 speed auto with sports mode and driver shift control. and whats with Performance Algorithm Liftfoot, Downgrade Detection and Shift Stabilization, what is that.

It has to do with the suspension.
The regular ride is a little mushy like a caddy owner would expect. Sport stiffens up the suspension to get a tighter feel to the road. This also changes the shift points of the transmission. You should have a couple of buttons or a shifter that toggles left right. if you do then you can manually shift where you want. kinda useless in a caddy but hey you paid for it. Go by and ask a dealer, they will be happy to get more specific, especially the salesman you bought it from, he should know exactly what it does.
