I just got my first speeding ticket on I-605 in long beach going to work at 6am. I was crusing along when a motorcycle highway patrol pulled me over for making an unsafe lane change. He let me off on the lane change but wrote me up for going 90mph! The posted speed limit is 65mph, but I wanted to know roughly how much it is going to be and if I still have the option of taking driving school. I work at a car dealership and I cannot have any points on my driving record. If anyone could help, that would be awesome!

my mot runs out on the 14th dec i am going to tax my car next week, someone has told me that i will not be able to tax it as the mot runs out soon, is this right. i thought an mot is valid up until the renewal date, can someone shed some light on this.

It only does this when going over 60 mph. It will not do this at any other time. What could this problem be? The check engine light will come on, but will go off again. Other then this, the car drives fine.

The rly safety Directorate shd be handed over to tourism department independent of rly admin. for the safety officers in the railways seeking avenue of promotion as cops and ds etc when the operating efficience is high. for this they will make the subordinates to violate sfety rules which improves efficent transport. they threaten the staff to violate rules and let them in a quandery when any accident occurs. I was a rly guard who didnot budge but got my selection as mailguard retarded. Even the rly afety commisioners r devoid of knowledge about rules. so the entire safety department shd b handed over to Tourism department to avoid accidents on railwys.

I was at a light and went to hit the gas and my car would not accelerate. I pulled over and cut the car off. I tried to start it up again and then my check light engine came on and it went dead. After a few hours I went back to drive the car home and it did okay for a while and then started stalling. It seems like this problem came out of nowhere. What's wrong with my car?

I'm getting divorced and I have a problem with the cars my husband and I had. He bought me a car (it's financed under his name) and I bought him a truck (it's financed under my name). My car is almost paid off, the payments are only about $150 a month which I could totally afford on my own now. The truck is new and have only paid about $4K off on it and it's a $19K payoff. The monthly payments are $500! I CANNOT afford to take the truck back. If I take it back to the dealer where I bought it and turn it in, how much will I get back? What happens? I'll have to trade it back in to get a new car ASAP (I won't have time to privately sell it). Can someone please explain to me what will happen? Also, I am BROKE right now and can't afford to have to put a down on a new car and my credit isn't good. Will that matter since I'm trading in? Please help!!! You can IM me at TucKitty820 on AIM. It was a really bad accident, but the damage is more than $500. I had just canceled my insurance in october with intentions on getting another policy with another company, but OOPS. Anyways,the accident was the other drivers fault she T-boned me. After the accident I was a little shooken up and lost all my common sense, I obtained her name, phone#, and address but no insurance info. Where do I go from here? How bad did I screw up? The other driver says it was my fault, I know for a fact that I wasn't at fault, I also have a witness, who was at one of the other stops signs in the four way stop. What do I do? who should I call?

i found a 318 in a junkyard in a winnabagel (sp?) the owner of the junkyard said that it was rebuilt and runs good. he'll offer a gaurantee, but my questions is that i would like to put it in a 1967 sattellite. what would i have to do to put it into the car? should i take the transmission too? is it geared for a car?the price is 500.00

has anyone any ideas why a fiat stilo loses water. it has been into fiat 4 times and they say there is no problem. So why do i have to fill it every 20-30 miles. There is no water into the head gasket or from the heater matrix as the interior is dry,and the radiator and pipes seem ok. Please help cos im on a water meter at home
