Ya, I tried advertising through them and it costs quite a bit of money. You need some sort of free item (pen, fridge magnet, etc.) to include in the "Welcome Package" and some sort of discount or deal to promote through the program. You pay to have the pens, magnets, etc. made and you pay a small fee per package handed out for a minimum of 6 months, but you get a mailing list of all the people your stuff is given to. I lost money on the program, but if you do some research you might get some business out of it. Good Luck!

Yes, unless they are unorganized and forget about your house! That happened to me when I bought my last house. About a year after I bought it, a new neighbor asked if I liked the gift basket and coupons provided by WW. I told here they never came by and she turned 5 shades of embarrassment. I asked "Why, were they suppose to?" And she stated "Yes, but someone must of forgot".

About a week later she said it was forgotten and profusely apologized. But they made it up with a month free of lawn care, which I used. It was actually her 12 year-old son using their push mower to mow my 5000 sq ft lawn!

The WELCOME WAGON are a bunch of weirdos who come around to the homes of unsuspecting newcomers, then they offer you sodas laced with drugs and while you are passed out they go through all your boxes of stuff and steal, steal, steal

THEY ARE A GROUP OF LADIES WHO COME TO YOUR HOME WITH THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE COMMUNITY. THEY ARE THERE TO WELCOME YOU WITH SMALL GIFTS AND A SMILE WHEN YOU MOVE TO A NEW HOW. I DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE STILL AROUND BUT I REMEMBER THEM FROM MY CHILDHOOD.
