All lights work outside and inside except turn signals, emergency flashers work properly inside and outside as well. Any ideas? it is on a 1990 ford taurus sedan. The windshield wipers also have a mind of their own, they work when they want to.

I'm working on completeing a physics assignments and have found myself lost. Here is the information I have been given:

Car 1 approached the intersection from the top of a 25-meter hill.
∙ Car 2 was on a flat stretch of road directly in front of Car 1.
∙ At the bottom of the hill, before braking for the stop sign, Car 1 was going 20 m/s
and Car 2 was going 30 m/s before it stopped at the stop sign.
∙ From the skid marks on the road you can see that Car 1 applied force on its brakes
for 3 seconds, 100 meters before the stop sign.
∙ There were no skid marks left by Car 2. The collision occurred at the stop sign,
where Car 2 had stopped.
∙ After the collision, both cars were moving together in the same direction at 10 m/s,
before slowly rolling to a stop.
You must now push Car 2, using 800 N of force, 10 meters off to the side of the road so
no one else gets hurt.

I have run out of characters to use, so if you can help me, PLEASE email me!

Ok my car has been making a screeching kinda noise for a year now and it sounds like it may be coming from the CV shaft, it makes this noise when the car is moving in a forward gear but doesn't make the noise if you reverse. (The shaft and all its moving connections rotate the opposite way in reverse)

The sedan is powered by the rear wheels and if you jack the back up so the wheels don't touch the ground and then use the accerater it won't make the noise so there for it may not be the CV shaft. I'm confused, could it only be doing this while it is on the ground because of some weight pushed down on it as well as the moving forward? The mechanics have checked the brakes, wheels, put new rotors, new suspansion and shock absorbers and still noise!

Any ideas would be a great help

P.S I own a "1997 VS Holden sedan commodore"

Overpopulation of several species, such as raccoon, and opossum, in recent years has resulted in proportional increases in road kill tonnage on Montana highways. Because these animals grow rather big, some weigh in at 15 lbs (By Staff -- Design News, July 20, 1998).

Would a run-in with them on the road damage a vehicle or even cause a driver to lose control?

Should subsequent vehicles passing the road kill site swerve to avoid the remains?

It has a chinese engine, and I have dual fuel system, CNG (Compressed Natuarl Gas), and petrol. Normalyy it switched automatically from Petrol to CNG after having more than 1500 rpm. In cities I feel more problem, as when I have to stop at a crossing, its engine switches off, and so the booster brakes fails. A hazard.

I do. my husband and my oldest daughter also do this. the lighter doesn't work very well in my car any more so i try and light the next cig with the last cig to avoid distraction. my son gets rides with his sister and told her that she shouldnt smoke while driving. she got mad at him. so she now closes all the windows and refuses to empty her ash tray. she tells him that if he wants a ride he must deals with her. my husband eats macdonals, smokes and talks on his phone while driving. he has gotten in too many accidents. i think he should stick with one or the other. do you smoke while driving?
