This is on new ford fusion pertol vehicle. I get this noise like tak, tak, tak . It comes even when engine is not started. This sound is not
observed always. When I start the car in morning then I definitely
hear this, I hear this some times after a long stop in between the day too. Any advice what this noise could be.

Do you have a power antenna ?
When you turn the key on, it may be trying to extend or retract.
That's what comes to mind.

With the key on, not running. Turn the radio on and of to see if you hear the noise again.

It's an electrical problem. More than likely a computer error also. Since your car is new it should still be under warranty. Take it back and get it fixed for free.

Is just the a/c door under dash moving, and such, waiting for you to start your car.
