Can you move the steering wheel from lock to lock.
You may have turned off the van while the power steering was holding the wheels in position. As soon as the power steering lost power, the rubber tires pushed against the steering wheel in one direction.
If, you can move the steering wheel back and fourth a little, then you have other issues.

i own a repair shop,and you might try moving the wheel a little to un stick it ,but there supposed to lock when you remove the key,if its stuck you might have a bad key switch,,good luck,i hope this help,s.

could be a bad ignition switch, try giggling it
