Hi ,
The stuff you're looking for I believe is called "Lumiweld". It was invented by a metalurgist in Florida quite awhile back.
Its kind of tricky to use, but, with alot of practice you can get good results. The propane torch will work, if the piece is small, larger pieces will require OX-Actelyene. You don't put the torch to the rod, you heat the piece till the rod melts. Read instructions carefully. GB

I have some rods I bought several years ago called Miracle Rod. It was purchased at a model airplane show. I have not been able to find out where to get it though. There is a product called HTS 2000. Check this site for info, http://www.aluminumrepair.com/more_info.asp
It does take practice, and works well.

On one hand, that is a probability because AFraud lives in Miami in the course of the offseason and the Marlins favor something -- even a piece of crap, washed-up, steroids-utilizing, third baseman -- to attempt to entice followers next season. That reported, I doubt the Marlins receives him for not something no matter if the Yankees take Bell, so as that area of the tale is astonishing. I, in my opinion, imagine Miami might want to be nuts to address ARoid because he's a participant thoroughly and completely without upside, and he's so previous now that a replace of surroundings received't reenergize his occupation. Loria had a run very last season the position he blew funds on "call" gamers yet none of them were washed-up even as he signed them. i extremely doubt that this deal pans out.

As far as I know, you can't braze aluminum.

You need GTAW to weld aluminum.
