I left the house to go to the mall, and while on the highway I was going sort of fast. A couple of minutes later while going fast, I heard a loud pop at the back of the car. Scared the hell out of me so I pulled over thinking a tire popped or something but they were fine. What was that pop? Is it ok?

My girlfriend and I want to go on a Friday evening, come back on Sunday afternoon. However www.thetrainline.com just seems to want to screw us for over a hundred quid even when we want to buy a month in advance!

What kind of incentive is that to use public transport?!

Any advice welcome. :-)

there is a stream/ small river near my town. I wish to make a small raft/dinghy which i can use to row/float a distance of about 5-10 kms. Ideas i have is to use a flat plywood board on four tractor tubes. which should be easy to carry on a two wheeler. Or better if i can buy a inflattable dinghy at less than 2000 rupees.

Tires were kinda notched or something. Which was causing bad roaring noise, then had put on front and would vibrate the steering wheel at 55mph plus. So I had 2 new front tires put on, but should I check anything else so I dont run into the same issue again??

There are no words to express how incredibally awful it is to have to suffer the smell of disgusting people who don't wash their a****
before they go out in the morning. What kind of person goes to work smelling that way. I asked a driver why they would let someone on that's obviously unclean and stink and he says he can't deny them passenger service and I said but what about the rest of us? Don't we have as much right not to smell him? The bad always get the rights and the decent always come second.

My mom was in a car accident recently. She has a 2005 Chrysler 300. I'm not sure how many but it does have more than 2 airbags. This accident totaled the front passenger side of the vehicle. None of the airbags popped out. I thought she would be able to sue because of the malfunction. This is not just to get paid my mother was seriously injured, and could have broke her neck from the impact. Actually these were the doctors words. She seems to be under the impression that an accident has to happen on the side of the car for the airbags to pop out on that side. That doesn't make since to me.

Here's the situation (i've never had this happen before):

We were at a 6 way intersection (with lights). Our light was green, but an officer had his sirens on flying to an emergency, so the car in front of me stopped short. I stopped short too. The girl behind me couldn't stop in time and caused some damage to the tailight and the bumper. The police came and I filed the report and everything....what happens now? Should I still call my insurance company or should I wait and see if the other driver will pay since it was their fault?
