i seem to remember that chevy or some other brand had a concept car a few years back that was a pick-up that had folding sides and/or roof that made it into an suv? did this concept become the avalanche or am i losing it? (note: i've already lost it, i'm just asking if im getting worse)

With all the plane crashes in recent years (and I don't necessarily mean the last 2 crashes) but in the last 20-25 years, it seems like planes are going down one right after anohter,
so does it bother you? I don't just mean morrally but does it make you nervous to fly anymore?

Want to put snows on my GT? Should I go 2 or 4 (snow tires) and I can get 205 55 R16. My tires are 225 55 R16. Which tires have a higher profile? There is not a lot of room between tires and wheelwells but my 225's are low so would not want any lower profile than I have now. Doesn't seem like much rubber between me and the road

.... the approximate cost of having both front to rear brake pipes replaced?
I have a Hyundia Accent, just had it serviced today and was told it would need doing. Thought what they quoted seemed a bit excessive but don't really know what i should expect to pay.

when brakes are applied feel a spring and a spring sound when ABS light is off and hte brakes feellike the are letting me free roll. when ABS light comes on i feel like i have my brakes back to normal but the red brake light comes on and stays on a few seconds and then goes off.the red light comes on after i release the brake pedal.

I have a 96 Nissan Maxima GLE. Last week, i tried to start the car and nothing happened. No lights, no intererior lights, no cranks, no door locks, absolutely nothing, as if I wasn't even trying to turn on the ignition. (Earlier in the week, my stereo system also died, which i dont know if its associated with it.) So I assumed it was the battery, bought a new battery for it, and everything worked fine, even got the radio working again. Checked the alternator and it was fine from Advanced Auto. Two days later, same thing happened, nothing was working when I tried to start it. I even tried to jump it but it didnt work, the car still showed no signs of life. What could be wrong? Is something draining the battery? Could it be the starter? THANKS!

They are Monster brand cables. Once cable has writing (very light) on it and one does not.

I am working on a 2003 Dodge Stratus (2.7 V6)

The problem started a couple months ago when the gauge for no reason just shot way up to hott and the car wasn't even hot at all... This happened a couple times and at the same time the resevoir cap came loose... So I finally bought a locking cap to take care of that problem.

Then she had her water pump replaced because a mechanic thought that was the problem... didnt help.... SO I tested the Coolant sensor and replaced it, AND I replaced the Thermostat as well... I took it for a test drive and the gauge NEVER left Cold and NO heat came out of the heater core at all...

So today I tore it all apart again and made sure the thermostat was installed correctly and not backwards... and it was fine...

Put it all back together and still the same thing.,..... Upper radiator hose is cold, engine is hot, and no hot air coming out of the heater core....

Do you think I bought a bad thermostat?

Can I test the system to see if coolant is flowing?
