I can't think of what could have happened, we installed the struts step by step, and I was slightly concerned when my father told me it was the first time he did struts... Anyways, we installed them and the sounds are slightly annoying, but the struts seem to work perfectly otherwise. The tire wear has decreased majorly. My struts hadn't been changed in 225K. The reason we decided to change them was because I was driving on the interstate and my steering wheel started to shimmy and then my tire blew out. (It was an old Firestone tire) Dented my car pretty badly, damaged my bumper, and took off the sideview mirror. I've gotten a new sideview mirror since then. Anyhow, I was wondering why my struts make that klunking sound? (It's only when I'm driving through rough spots like bumps on the road, speed bumps)

I checked motor oil level (it was full). I topped off the anti-freeze. I checked the gas tank cap and it was tight. Still the light is on and the heater will not heat up.

I have a 2002 Kia Rio and it drives horrible. I can't drive it over 60 mph without it shaking like crazy, and the steering wheel shakes all the time, even at low speeds. Also, every time it's trying to shift over 20 mph some times in sticks in gear! Does anyone know what I can try to at least maybe get rid of the shaking. Its an automatic transmission and its practically brand new, so I think I'll take it back to the AAMCO place to have the tran. adjusted or something.
