why do you feel the need to get drunk? Do you get enjoyment from it? Obviously you are feeling guilty about it so ... stop! Do you enjoy hangovers the next day? Wouldn't it be wonderful to wake up fresh on a Saturday or Sunday morning, get fresh rolls from the bakery and go out for the day instead? And for a change, your colleagues at work would envy your weekend which was packed full of bubbling activities!
Oh no, I have to add this one more thing: I find "The Dunce" answer very disturbing, I will try to ignore this little piece of knowledge during my flight to Milan in November!

It is not odd that you like to drink and get drunk at 28 years of age. However, it is odd that you asked this question in the aviation forum part of Yahoo Answers

If by "get drunk and have fun" you mean dancing naked on a table and then vomiting and passing out...I would consider it odd...but not uncommon.
By that age, it's a sure sign of immaturity and alcohol abuse that will cause increasing problems for him down the road.
(This IS a good question in the "Aircraft" category...I'm a pilot and know of MANY pilots who still "get drunk and have fun" well into their 50's!)

I guess it depends on who you are partying with. If you are still hanging out with 18 year olds then yeah, you are a loser. If its people around the same age group 21-35, then its fine.

I don't think it's odd. It's up to the individual. You failed to mention if you were married or have children or other responsibilities? Your responsibilities should come first. If you're not getting into trouble or hurting anyone or causing yourself more harm that good, than enjoy! Life is short, eat desert first!!!!

What is so fun in getting drunk? Why do people think they have to be drunk to have fun? I have been drunk (years ago when I was young and dumb) but never thought it was fun. And never did it again. You can have more fun sober!

Just do what you want (as long as it's legal and moral).
