the most common problem is the a/c blower resistor is bad. there is a new improve part(part number 05174124AA) to solve your problem. it is located under the glove . it take about half an hour to change it.

i own a repair shop,and also own a 98 dodge stratus,first you need to check the fuse for the fan and if its good you might want to check the switch in it they do go out we have had to replace ours once already,but most of the time its the fuse for it,the owners manual will tell which fuse it is,,its no big deal to repair,at the worse it can only be the heater motor and there not to bad to replace on these cars,but try the fuse first,mine blows one once in a while too,good luck,i hope this help,s.

check your fuses and the relay then with a test light find your heater motor unplug the electical connecter turn the key to the on position and check for power if all checks out well your heater motor is bad if this is some thing you have never done leave it to someone who knows what there doing good luck

With the heater turned on see if you have any voltage going to the heater motor. If so the motor may be worn out.

if the fan doesn't work on any speeds most likely its a blower motor or fan switch. if fan only works on high its a blower resister.you would have to check voltage at the blower motor.

i almost quaruntee it is the heater blower motor resistor, common problem on these makes.

you have a low coolant point or a air pocket interior the cooling gadget. fill up rad and see in case you will discover the bleeder valve. it may be top on the front of engine alongside the coolant tube.
