Okay so on the 20th my boyfriend will be 19. ANd on the 29th is our one year. I am totally confussed on what to get him. Like I want to make him a "message in a bottle" because I think it is a titally adorable idea...And I already bought him one girf. An arena football. third times the charm so they say!! Ive decided that the fuel pump is faulty. I dont want to drop the tank to change it out without being sure. can anyone tell me a test or two that will pinpoint the fuelpump as the culprit? i think that the fuel filter clogged up and then due to shear stupidity i kept trying to start the truck thus burning out the fuel pump! 603-642-8124 1996 chevy S-10 pick-up

Im not one hundred % sure of anything, the f*%$@# thing might be out of gas for all i know, but id like to know how to isolate the fuel pump all the same. thanks for all yer help, and thanks too the hillbilly that called my house to help me last time i asked a ? please feel free to call my crib again jimbo, you helped me great deal.

The rot is mostly contained to the driver's side in the rear panel of the truck on the underside of the body. There's a fairly wide space (about a square foot) to be filled and I'm looking to patch it myself, but I'm not sure what kind of materials I should use. I have some extra floor tiles left over from a house project...I was thinking of tacking one or two to the body and going over it with Bondo or something, being careful to use rust converter. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!!

I have a sunfire 2000 2.2 lit motor automatic. The rear wheel thumps as i apply the brakes or even when I slow down. Its not the rims. This has been a problem on countless sunfires and Caveliers. I beleive the wheel is not round. Has another actually seen GM do anything about this problem. Like a recall. Any comments?

I had gone mudding and in the process i put my Jeep in 4wheel drive... after driving awhile i tried to take it out of 4wheel drive and the lever that puts it into 4wheel drive is just dead its loose and it moves around very loosely and easily like its not catching gears like it slipped out, But my car is still telling me it is 4wheel drive and it is because i tested it. But is it just because the gear slipped out OR what wrong????!!

We've just bought a 03 reg rover 25... and while on the motorway next to the clock we noticed a little light come on that looks like a triangle with the top missing divided into 3 sections.. I'll try and draw it to give you an idea of what it looks like... what is it????? The car didn't come with a manual so we're clueless!

Just recently I have noticed that i do need to change my brakes. I know this because they are squeling. Could this be the problem? When I first got the car I had the rods and struts replaced. This has been about two years ago. What else could the problem be? CV Joints, ball joints? And if so, what would the price range be to get it fixed? Thanks!

This question is posed to EXPERT car mechanics only please. We had an ol' 77 Honda civic clunker that my spouse would put on high choke and rev it up at high speed to warm up the cold engine...Now we have a '97 Ford escort that has some digital chips in the engine..the engine was replaced once already because I suspect that the warm up process my spouse uses wore it out real quick but he continues to do the same thing daily....My spouse will only listen to words of wisdom from someone of expertise in this matter...any suggestions?
