how do i wire a aloternator for an 93 ford thunderbird with a 3.8 to and 87 thunderbird with a 3.8?

the one plug is the same and the other is diffrent the one with the power wire??

Not compatiable you can wire the exciter wire and ground the alternator hook up a battery wire and it might work. Just get the right part that plugs right in.
