All SUVs by classification, are wagons. (Look at the registration card of an SUV.) A sport wagon is a SUV or station-wagon that is performance tuned. For example: The Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5, Dodge Magnum, and Jaguar X-type wagon are all considered sport wagons.

The Porsche Cayenne/ Cayenne Turbo came out a couple of years ago. It's direct competitor would have to be considered the BMW X5.
As far as any stationwagons by Porsche, I've never seen one.

Sorry, I've never heard of Porsche ever coming out with a wagon...They are strickly a sports car company, although recently they have brought out an SUV (Cayenne) and later in 2008, the Panamera, a sedan.

LOL 928 thats funny. Its a station wagon or in Europe an "Estate"
It was introduced when "SUV's" became popular. Mercedes , BMW , Cadilac and Porsche all jumped on the band wagon.
It may be the fastest way to haul your grocery's and dog around town .
Think of the thrill you get seperating that pizza topping from the dough and forceing all the kids to be quiet just by stomping on the gas pedal???!!
