My M reg corsa is seriously on it's way out. There's a terrible knock, and clicking coming from the area around the cambelt, and when I looked inside the cambelt casing when the car was idling it was moving side to side!! We're desperately trying to find a new car as mine is only worth about £300 if that so not worth having it all fixed. My question is.. how long before my car dies an almighty death as I still have to get to work etc while I hunt for a new car! These problems have only escalated in the past month since we did a 200m round trip to go on holiday! HELP!

it has new spark plugs, cap, rotor button, MAP sensor. When it starts up it will run for 30 Seconds and then cut off like some one has cut the key off

you have no problem bringing it to them for the "free" warranty stuff, but when it comes to maintance you take it to guys who dont have any training on your make and model...

please dont say that the dealer is more exjpensive - you get factory trained techs and factory parts - and there oil changes are less then jiffy lubes

anyhow - after "down the road motors" cant fix your car - guess where he takes it?

i have long hair, when im on the bike no matter if i tie it up or not its really knotted when i get home, cant get a brush through it.
short of putting it in pigtails or a pleat ( i hate looking like a schoolgirl lol) can anyone recommend a product thats gonna stop it happening - or make it less knotted???

I'm 20 yrs old, 5'0'' tall, and 117 lbs. I am really scared of the airbag sometimes and I heard that it can actually kill me. I'm not sure what to do . I drive a 2000 Celica and it has front airbags so I don' t know if it's good or bad. I read my driver's manual that came with my car and it says nothing. All it says is that someone who is under 12 shouldn't sit in the passengers seat (up front) Well I know 10 yr olds taller than me. What do you think?

so removing the whole "driveaxle" or axle is easier then replacing just the cv joint?

looking at my car manual seems more complicated then people tell me.

First off, i need to put a wooden dowel in the gear so to keep the gears from falling?

I need to remove te brake calipers and rotors?

I need a "gear puller" to push the axle out of the hub?

I found a Nissan Sentra with 100,000 miles and its only $3,900... the dealer says whatever my mechanic finds wrong with it he will pay to have fixed! I was trying to find a car with less miles but dont feel like spending the 6thousand i have safed up on a used car. SHould i buy it?

Usually drive it in drive. I tested it swithing it from drive to 3rd and there is no difference.

Having gone to a car dealership on Sunday and told them I need a car by Friday (tommorrow), they have left it until today to inform me that they need the ORIGINAL insurance certificate to tax the car and let me have it. I have called them twice throughout the last 3 dys to check all is going to be okay for Friday. I have only got confirmation of the insurance by fax.

Are they obliged to organise having the documents couriered to them, or was it my responsibility to have it sorted before now?

i was told a 99 steering colum mustang was put in my 96. but the keys looked exactly the same. i know the 96's didnt have the key chip in it since i got a copy that worked from home depot. the 99's have a bigger key because of the chip. was the parts guy that did the install wrong? is it possible to put a 99 steering colum with chip recognition into a 96 that doesnt ?
