Use a leave in conditioner......it will help a little when brushing out.....I cut my hair short about a year ago....but when it was long....I would wear a "rag" or one of those nylon skull cap things that alot of black guys wear.....then....one or two braids for the hair hanging out of the helmet......

also....if you band all the way down....tie a "rag" around the pony tail.....it won't let it knot so bad.....

by the way....ignore the jacka$$e$ and their rudene$$

You can go to the link below and order some of the stuff called neutralizer and put it on your hair, it will solve the problem, it has a Ph level of 8.0, which keeps the hair from turning into a bush.

You can even put it on a sunburn and it cools it off right away, also on your face feels so good.

OH! same problem!! i just grit my teeth and use my fingers not a brush..OR.. wash it straight away and leave the conditoiner in a bit longer...i am still looking for a 'leave in' conditioner, all i can think of is the stuff u get for horses called 'mane and tail conditioner' really expensive if it doesnt work! or try putting it in a bun.

I use a leave in conditioner and just put my hair back in a pony tail when riding. I don't seem to have any problems with knots.

If you choose to ride and obviously you have...... there is nothing to do with long hair not to mention helmet head. I know what your talking about. Carry the brush !!! lol

I plait mine, tie a low ponytail first and then plait the hair and fasten off at the bottom. only the very end gets a little knotty then.

Braid your hair tight & tuck it inside your shirt in the back. Works for me.
