First you have to check the blue book, kbb, for the price of that car with the year and mileage. Get everything on signed on paper. Once the car is out not many dealers care about it.

I just sold my Honda Civic with 129,000 miles for $500.

Don't buy used from the dealer. Buy from individual but have the car checked out (at your own cost) by a mechanic you trust.

sure, bring it back to the dealer and get a quote for the top fix for the car. should run pretty close to $1000.

hey this just a suggestion, don't buy it because the dealer could be scamming you into buying it and once you do his story might changed. buy a new car it may be much better and there is less risk too. (if you want)

Well, you could tell him you found a brand new Bugatti Veyron else where for $2000, offer him a dollar for it, and when he refuses, spit on his feet and stomp off chanting racist slurs, or you could do the smart thing and buy it.
