Hands down -- the Toyota Avalon is more reliable and has a higher resale value than the Cadillac DTS.

Toyota will always have a better resale value, and I hear the cadillacs breakdown quicker than the Toyotas. But I bet a cadillac dealer will be more willing to cut the cost than a Toyota dealer.
