you turned off your auto dimming switch. It is usually located near the headlight switch. Or your light sensor on the dash or in front of the rear view mirror went south, but not normally the case.

Check the twilight sentinal switch. It can be adjusted. It's usually on the dash or end of the turn signal wand.

What kind of car? You probably turned off the "Auto" option somehow.
