It seems easy to find manuals for Miatas from 1997 and before, but where is the 1999 manual? Any link to a pdf? Or a site that sells hardcopies? I don't want a general Amazon link but something that takes me straight to the page where I can find that manual... will definitely rate the best answer... thanks!!!

I have a 1986 Buick sedan. My alternator was hammered so the mechanic put in a new one. When I am driving 60-70 on the freeway, the needle hovers above the + plus side on the right. When I'm driving in stop and go traffic, the voltage meter goes toward the - minus side on the left. The needle always perks up at faster speeds. Is this normal? Hopefully my new alternator is ok, I hope anyway. Thanks for your help.

I have a Saturn SL2 (2000) with 115K miles. I recently had the oil changed (not sure if this matters). When I went to start my car this morning it was very slow to start. The "change oil" light comes on and goes off quickly once the car is running. After starting it ran fine. When I got to my destination I started it up a few times, and it started normally. No electrical problems apparent. I went to work, then when I left it was really slow to start up again. Took about 8 seconds of cranking. It has never done this before and I have no idea what the problem could be. If anyone could help me troubleshoot, that would be great. I'd rather not have to take it to the shop if its something simple, but I don't want to damage my car or drain my battery since it seems to have starting issues.

I just bought a 1997 Acura Cl. Its a beautiful car. I had a stereo system installed (at the price of 1200$). It runs great with absolutely no problems. Until about three days ago, when i noticed it started over heating when I pull up to a red light, or have to idle for a short period of time. I put water in the radiator yesterday. It was low on water, but nothing severe. If someone could give me their insight, I would truly appriciate it! 3.0 Liter engine...

A major holiday and increased consumption, yet the prices fall. Oh yeah, it is also election time. Name one other high travel holiday where the "increased demand" didn't drive prices up? Still think politics and oil aren't linked? Demand has NOTHING to do with the current oil prices. It is all about money and politics. The current administration wants re-election. Disagree?

My daughter wrecked my car (frontend damage) while heading back to college this Labor Day weekend. Unfortuately I changed the policy from full coverage to PL/PD due to the high costs of young license drivers. It's more than likely that it'll be totaled or the costs w/outweigh having it fixed. Does anyone know who i can contact (preferribly so. california) i.e. junk yard to purchase the car? Thx for your response :)

my mother was just diagnosed with cancer, ao she cant drive me to school anymore, and i cant walk to school because it is about ten miles away from my home, them metro bus leaves at about 6:00 am in the morning, and i cant get up and get ready by that time. right now i have my uncle driving me but he is leaving the country for about two months, so my friend told me about a special license to just drive to school and back, and i was wondering if this is possible in the state of california. note: i only have a provisional permit, not a license.

My crazy plan is to build a super-long power cat for commuting to work through a large harbour; it has to be that long in order to allow me to cruise at 12 knots, because all boats that are shorter than that are not allowed to go any faster than 5 knots (that's just the law, and if I went that slow in a small boat, it would take too long to get to work, hence the length).

My worry now: That's one heck of a long, narrow-looking boat. Will that still be stable? For non-metric people, we're talking a catamaran the length of two stretch limos, and the width of only one.

my boyfriend is giving me his car- it is not paid off yet so I would resume payments. How do we go about in transfering titles and ownership? I have never done this so dont know where to start. A lawyer doesnt need to be involved right?

The fuel pump will not come on when started and Jeep will start but die if you try to put it in drive and will sputter out even after a few seconds in park. Hopefully it is the fuel pump. Does anyone know if somewhere like Tuffy or MOnroe can take care of this or do I have to go to the dreaded Jeep dealership? Any advice on the cars problem is welcome, too. Thanks
